Quality Inspector

Position Summary In Motion Systems Group and Hydraulic Actuator Division we play a pivotal role in applications that change our world. We have an opening for a Quality Inspector on 1st shift for our paint line or 2nd shift in Enumclaw, WA. The role performs final quality inspections and coordinates with departments for quality improvement, supporting paint functions including grit blasting. Your responsibilities Use a variety of hand tools and basic production equipment to prepare components for painting. Operate cranes (electric and pneumatic) to move Parker products for painting and prepping for shipping. Assist painters at cure ovens to maintain flow of parts. Perform touch‑up paintwork as directed by painters. Transfer rails to maintain flow of parts. Assist upper‑level painters in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas and equipment. Assist with packaging and shipping products to customers. Maintain a clean work area and assist in departmental housekeeping. Comply with safety procedures and company policies. Complete additional duties and projects assigned. Actively participate in company‑sponsored training programs. Operate and maintain the grit blast process. Who we are looking for High school diploma or G.E.D. Minimum of 1 year of prior experience in manufacturing, preferably with paint or quality inspection. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints. Ability to read, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions. Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel. High level of attention to detail. Cross‑train paint functions to include grit blasting within 6 months. Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation Pay range: $30.29/hr to $35.95/hr Participation in annual incentive program.
