Brief Description Harbor Health Certified Medical Assistant Dallas, TX | Full-Time Position Overview Harbor Health is seeking skilled Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our growing team. Position Duties & Responsibilities Collaborate with the clinical team to execute care tasks as ordered by providers Deliver care in accordance with each member's individualized care plan Perform client intake, collect lab specimens, and administer immunizations Chart accurately in electronic medical records (EHR) Assist with minor procedures and other supportive functions for the clinical team Complete opening and closing tasks each day to prepare for daily clinic operations Support the care team to ensure members' needs are met and hand-offs are appropriately conducted Required

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

High School Degree or equivalent Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or ability to renew/apply for certification Minimum of 3 years of experience in primary care or similar clinical environment Current CPR Certification Computer proficiency with the ability to enter information in EHR systems and compile reports or data as requested Ability to read, write, and speak English Excellent customer service and support skills; ability to organize and prioritize workload and meet deadlines Effective and professional communication - verbal and written - with persons from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial, ethnic, and professional backgrounds Consistent demonstration of positive, proactive customer service and ethical behavior Ability to work effectively as a team member while functioning independently with sound judgment Flexibility to shift priorities, maintain confidentiality, and establish effective interpersonal work relationships Preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish BLS Certification Phlebotomy Certification Physical Requirements Ability to work rotating shifts in a physically demanding, moderate-stress environment Exposure to blood, body fluids, communicable diseases, and repetitive motions Full range of body motion including handling and lifting clients Light to moderate work with 50 lbs. maximum weight to lift and carry Ability to reach, bend, stoop, handle objects, talk and/or hear, and see What We Offer Competitive salary and incentives Generous PTO 10 paid holidays Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401k Investment Plan Company Equity At Harbor Health, we're transforming healthcare in Texas through collaboration and innovation.
