It's time to look at TaylorYour OpportunityTaylor is looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead a production team in a fast-paced environment at our Bloomington, IL location. This role is responsible for driving daily results through strong floor leadership, clear communication, employee development, and a hands-on approach to keeping production, quality, and safety on track. The right person will know how to balance accountability, urgency, and teamwork while helping the operation run smoothly.Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.Your Responsibilities:Drive results by leading and coaching others; enforce systems, policies and proceduresDevelop staff through interviewing, selecting, and training employees and help them develop personal growth opportunitiesMonitor workflow, observe equipment, and maintain systems that produce high quality and detailed products; help correct malfunctions and foster a spirit of cooperation between departmentsWork with Team Leads to achieve results by scheduling and assigning personnel, establishing priorities for the day and monitoring progress, and reporting results on production summariesMaintain a safe and clean work environmentYour Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:30pm - 11:30pm, Monday - FridayYou Must Have:Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly share process changes, expectations, and improvement opportunities with team members and facility leadershipExperience leading people in a production, warehouse, manufacturing, or fast-paced operational environmentExperience with performance management, including coaching, accountability, employee development, and helping improve team performanceAbility to prioritize work, make sound decisions, and keep production moving in a fast-paced environmentAbility to monitor workflow, identify issues quickly, and take action to keep quality, productivity, and deadlines on trackAbility to work across departments and build cooperation between teams to support daily production goalsComfortable being hands-on in the operation and stepping in to support the team as neededAbility to move throughout the facility for up to 8 hours at a time to monitor staff, operations, and operate equipment as neededAbility to occasionally move materials weighing up to 30 poundsWe Would Also Prefer:Minimum of two years of leadership experienceProduction or warehouse experienceExperience in scheduling work, assigning priorities, and tracking daily production resultsExperience working with quality standards, safety expectations, and process improvement effortsThe anticipated annual salary range for this position is $62,000 - $66,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
