Health Information Coordinator

Working fully remote, the full-time Health Information Operations Coordinator will manage daily Emergency Department log and chart reconciliation, ensure accurate coding and billing documentation, and maintain data integrity while collaborating with healthcare providers and hospital personnel. Key responsibilities Obtain and reconcile daily Emergency Department logs and charts for accurate coding and billing Identify and document high acuity patient charts and resolve outstanding charts within required timeframes Communicate with Medical Records Assistant Manager and assist with additional projects as needed Required qualifications Basic computer and keyboarding skills Ability to learn software applications necessary for job duties Experience in healthcare or medical records management is preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Minimum mathematical skills for billing and chart reconciliation tasks
