Gallery Associate (Independent Contractor) Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery | Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA Jennifer Perlmutter Gallery is seeking a personable, motivated Gallery Associate (Independent Contractor) to join our team 2–3 days per week. This is a unique opportunity to work in a vibrant, contemporary gallery setting in the heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea. We’re looking for someone who appreciates art, enjoys connecting with people, and is comfortable engaging in sales in a relaxed, welcoming environment. What You’ll Do Welcome and engage with gallery visitors in a warm, professional manner Share knowledge about artists and artwork (training provided) Assist with art sales and transaction processing Help maintain the presentation and organization of the gallery Support a positive, elevated guest experience What We’re Looking For Interest in art and/or art history Experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred Confident communicator with a friendly, approachable style Self-starter with a mature, reliable work ethic Comfortable working independently Compensation Starting at $20/hour 5% commission on sales after 3 months Work surrounded by inspiring art, meet visitors from around the world, and be part of one of Carmel’s most dynamic gallery experiences. #J-18808-Ljbffr
