Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, fellow nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patients' conditions, treatments, and progress; report changes or concerns promptly to appropriate team members
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to facility policies and protocols
• Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness
• Teach and direct clinical support staff (LPNs and Medical Assistants) in the performance of delegated acts within the therapeutic plan of care

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Active ACLS certification
• At least some prior nursing experience required; new graduates are not being considered at this time
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and equipment
• Candidates must be in the process of relocating to New Hampshire

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in an orthopedics or surgical office setting
• Familiarity with directing and delegating tasks to LPNs and Medical Assistants
• Experience working within a Critical Access Hospital or community hospital environment
