Job Characteristics Steady, even pacewith repetitive routinesto promote accuracy and quality of work Technical/analytical focusedwork within established systems, standards, and procedures Communication based on job knowledge andexpertise Decision-making within clearly defined job scopebased on defined policies and proceduressupported by management Focused on job knowledge andexpertise;helpfulandsupportive communication with management and peers; collaborative approach inastructured job environment Leadership focused on consistent,accurate, quality work output;Supportive, non-threatening leadership style;Delegation to others whenappropriate;using training, coaching and on the job experience Job Duties & Responsibilities Createhigh qualitydrawings within the provided design software Assure proper assignment of materials for assemblies Interpret architectural drawings Work within a team of ~10 other engineers/drafters Attention to detail isrequired Education Two-year degree,or higher, from a technical school or universityisrequired Relevant experience can be considered as an equivalent to a degree Experience Threeor more years’ experience within thewoodworking, manufacturing, orconstruction industryis preferred AutoCAD experiencepreferred CabinetVisionor similar experience is preferred Computer Requirements This role requires ahigh levelproficiencyin each of the following software programs: Shop Drawing creation & Material Assignments -Cabinetvision Architectural Drawings - Bluebeam Material Information Sheets – Microsoft Word Internet Software – Google Chrome Communication & File Storage – Microsoft Teams Email Communications – Microsoft Outlook Language, Cognitive & Mathematical Skills Ability to effectively present information and questions to Project Managersregardingproject related items. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret architectural drawings and specifications. Strong ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; mentally, hand-and-paper, and calculator. Strong knowledge and application of geometry. Ability to think in 3Dregardingmillwork,trimand details.
