Manufacturing Efficiency Technician

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing solutions, is seeking a Manufacturing Efficiency Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Efficiency Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production and process improvement teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: San Luis Obispo, CA

Pay Range: $23-25/hr

Shift: Wednesday – Sunday, 2nd Shift (3pm-11:30pm)

What's the Job?

• Perform daily pre-production walk-throughs of the assigned Value Stream to verify assembly kits and inventory levels.
• Assist in routing, closing, and completing work orders to ensure smooth production flow.
• Create and verify "Build Books" for systems prior to assembly, including reviewing drawings and redlines.
• Support 6S responsibilities by sorting, setting in order, shining, sustaining, and maintaining safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while working collaboratively with team members.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) Operating System preferred.
• Previous warehousing or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, and MS Office platform.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
