Position Overview

Amber Brooke Farms is looking for a dependable, hardworking Custodial Team Lead to help us maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our guests.

This is a hands-on custodial position with some team lead responsibilities. The Custodial Team Lead will spend the majority of the shift actively cleaning and maintaining restrooms, guest areas, seating areas, walkways, and other public spaces throughout the farm. During festivals and high-attendance days, this position may also help coordinate additional custodial team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitary restrooms, including restroom trailers and porta-johns.
• Regularly clean, inspect, and restock restrooms with toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other supplies.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, seating areas, and other guest spaces throughout the day.
• Walk guest areas regularly to pick up litter and keep the farm clean and presentable.
• Monitor trash cans and assist with trash removal and disposal as needed.
• Maintain an organized inventory of custodial and restroom supplies.
• Communicate supply and restocking needs to supervisors.
• Help coordinate and provide direction to additional custodial staff during festivals and high-traffic days.
• Prepare guest areas and restrooms before opening.
• Complete end-of-day cleaning, including restrooms, seating areas, fields, walkways, and parking areas.
• Maintain a “guest-ready at all times” standard throughout operating hours.
• Follow a clean-as-you-go approach, especially during busy festivals and events

Qualifications

• Previous custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable providing direction to other team members when needed.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and detail.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy, guest-focused environment.
• Willing and able to perform hands-on cleaning throughout the entire shift.
• Able to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Must be available to work weekends, festivals, special events, and holidays as scheduled .
• Must be comfortable working in varying outdoor weather conditions.
  

Schedule & Compensation

• $16.00 per hour
• Part-time, seasonal position
• Schedule will vary based on farm operating days, festivals, and special events.
• Weekend and event availability is required.
