Construction Project Manager

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects ranging from small to large-scale commercial projects
• Lead project execution from preconstruction through project closeout
• Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
• Manage project schedules, milestones, and overall project performance
• Handle change orders, contract administration, and scope management
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, pay applications, and project documentation
• Perform subcontractor buyouts and scope confirmations
• Support project estimating, budgeting, and cost control activities
• Facilitate labor planning and coordinate self-performed work activities
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions
• Conduct jobsite visits and attend project meetings as required
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to quality standards

Qualifications and Certifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager with a General Contractor
• Experience managing commercial and/or public works construction projects
• Experience with project scheduling, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and pay applications
• Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and project coordination
• General Contractor experience required
• Public and private construction project experience preferred
• Field construction experience preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
• Proficiency with construction management software and computer applications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
