Speech Therapist Position

What you will be doing:
- Evaluating and treating speech, language, cognitive, communication and swallowing disorders.
- Creating and following treatment plans individualized to meet the specific goals of each resident/client.
- Accurately recording activities and findings in the clinical record.
- Monitoring resident/client performance to ascertain effectiveness of program, communicating with Physician for any plan/goal modifications.
- Providing education on treatments to residents/clients and their families.

- A valid FL Speech Therapy license.
- A genuine interest in and compassion for older adults.
- Ability to demonstrate teamwork – be proactive, resourceful, and collaborative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate between residents/clients and staff.

We are: The Mead Therapy Center is located on Cypress Cove campus - a beautiful 60-acre life plan community at HealthPark Florida in South Fort Myers.
