Associate Position

Seeking an Associate to be responsible for assisting with legal research and case preparation, drafting legal documents, and handling client meetings.

This is a full-time on-site Associate position located in Buffalo, NY. The Associate will be responsible for assisting with legal research and case preparation, drafting legal documents, and handling client meetings. Responsibilities also include supporting litigation processes, engaging in negotiation or mediation when necessary, and advising clients on various legal matters based on the firm's practice areas. The role requires maintaining a high standard of professionalism while effectively managing multiple cases.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of legal research, drafting, and case analysis in the areas of transportation law, insurance litigation.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including the ability to prepare legal documents and conduct client consultations clearly and effectively.
• Experience in litigation processes, mediation, depositions, negotiation, and court appearances.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capability to manage multiple cases effectively.
• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a professional setting.
• A Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
