Shift: Evening Shift
Working Hours: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Local Candidates Required: Yes
Travelers Accepted: Yes
- Local Candidates: $60–$65/hour, depending on experience
- Travel Candidates: $2,400–$2,600/week, depending on experience
We are seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer to perform general radiographic imaging procedures and support quality patient care. The ideal candidate should have experience in general radiography, the required professional credentials, and the ability to work evening shifts, including weekends.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Follow radiation safety procedures to protect patients and healthcare personnel.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support effective patient care.
- Adhere to applicable clinical standards, safety guidelines, and departmental procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year of general radiography experience .
- Knowledge of radiographic procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety practices.
- Ability to work evening shifts and weekends as scheduled.
- Completion of an appropriate Radiologic Technologist training program.
- Military training in radiologic technology is also acceptable.
- Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) .
- Valid New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) license as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Evening shift: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM.
- Weekend availability is required; assignments may include every other weekend or every weekend.
- Workdays may be arranged flexibly, including a combination of two double shifts and one single shift to accommodate a five-day workweek.
- Additional scheduling details will be discussed during the individual interview.
Note: This is a 14-week contract position with no benefits. Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.
