Anaheim - North Orange County - Angels Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor Angels Camps Compensation $16.90 - $22.00/hour Schedule Full time Job Type Contract freelancer Industry Education and training Description Angels Baseball & Softball Camps Coach/Counselor Angels Baseball Camps is now hiring Coaches for our summer youth baseball and softball camps throughout Orange County and Riverside County. Angels Summer Camps is looking for summer camp coaches in Orange County and Riverside County who are energetic, positive, and who love to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13. Key responsibilities and benefits Work outdoors with young campers and connect with others who have similar interests Share knowledge of baseball/softball with campers and enhance their Angels Camps experience Make a positive difference in the lives of our youth Help young people develop a love of the game and the Los Angeles Angels Earn bonus pay for certain commitment levels Be eligible for free tickets to select Los Angeles Angels home games Participate in our end-of-summer rally at Angels Stadium We are looking for team members who: Have experience working with children ages 4-13 Have experience coaching and/or playing baseball/softball at a high school level or higher Have a passion for teaching and providing quality leadership in an engaging and energetic way Are able to connect with children both one‑on‑one and in a group setting Lead by example with strong character, integrity, and a positive attitude Are dependable and reliable; someone we can count on to be there, no matter what. Know how to have a lot of fun!! Core Responsibilities: Ensure a safe camp environment for all campers Manage and motivate campers to have fun each day of camp Execute Los Angeles Angels Baseball Camps Curriculum daily, under the direction of the Site Director Provide feedback and suggestions during drills and games Highlight teachable moments for campers to learn and grow from Work together with other team members from various backgrounds to uphold the Angels Baseball Camps stellar reputation Qualifications for all coaching positions: Be prepared to make a commitment Monday‑Friday for approximately eight hours per day, preferably for a minimum 4‑6 week commitment Angels Baseball & Softball Camps run every week from July 6, 2026 to August 14, 2026 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Camp Locations include: Irvine Compensation: Professional Educator: $22.00/hour (at least 1 school year of paid teaching experience and/or teaching certification required) Coach: $18.50/hour (at least 2 years or more of professional coaching experience in baseball/softball or any sport required) College Student/Recent Graduate: $17.27/hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Pho Prime, LLC
