Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, engineering analysis, testing, and manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with FEA, CFD, thermal simulation, and CAD tools, supporting the design, verification, qualification, and production of complex hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical and electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and manufacturing support.
Perform engineering analyses using hand calculations, FEA, CFD, and CAD tools.
Conduct thermal simulations using FloTHERM and/or FloEFD.
Develop and refine mechanical design solutions to support system trade studies and product development.
Define design criteria and collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements.
Support hardware verification, qualification testing, production ramp-up, and field deployment.
Develop detailed production drawings using GD&T.
Perform tolerance stack-up analysis to ensure manufacturability and product performance.
Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
Participate in design reviews and support component and system qualification activities.
Collaborate with Engineering, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and other cross-functional teams.
Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and implement effective engineering solutions.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field.
3+ years of experience in mechanical/electromechanical design, analysis, testing, and/or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and materials.
Hands-on experience with FEA and CFD analysis.
Experience with thermal simulation tools such as FloTHERM and/or FloEFD.
Proficiency with CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or similar platforms.
Experience with engineering hand calculations and analytical design validation.
Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
Knowledge of DFM and DFA principles.
Experience developing production-ready mechanical designs and drawings.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
