WOULD YOU BE A GREAT ASSISTANT CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (ACFO)?

To thrive as the Full-Time Assistant Chief Financial Officer (ACFO) at Minden Medical Center, you will need a robust set of skills and qualifications. A BS/BA degree in finance or a related field is essential, while a CPA, MBA, or MHA is preferred to demonstrate advanced knowledge. A minimum of 2 years of accounting or financial experience is required, coupled with a strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is crucial, as you will utilize advanced functions for data analysis. Your technical expertise should extend to various analytical tools and techniques, enabling you to gather, organize, and interpret data effectively.

Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written, are vital for conveying financial insights clearly. Additionally, you should possess the ability to identify discrepancies and problems, seeking advice when necessary to maintain integrity and excellence in financial reporting.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• BS/BA Degree required.
• CPA, MBA or MHA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years Accounting/Financial experience required.
• Working knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial systems; Strong Technical knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Good communication and presentation skills both oral and written.
• Skilled in various analytical tools and techniques. Ability to gather organize and interpret data to identify discrepancies, problems or issues, and obtain advice when precedents are unclear or unavailable.
