Job Title: RN (Registered Nurse)

Shift: 8 hour days plus call

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description:

The RN is responsible for providing patient care in the Operating Room (OR) and must be proficient in a wide range of surgical procedures as there are no specialized teams for each service line. The nurse will participate in a rotating call schedule and is expected to work collaboratively with the team to provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of surgical procedures across different service lines, including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, GYN, general surgery, and Davinci robotics.
• Participate in on-call rotations including weeknights and weekends as scheduled.
• Provide patient care pre, intra, and post-surgery, and float to PACU or ER for trauma cases if trained.

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in all surgical procedures as there are no specialized teams.
• Pass a 90% pass/fail open-book exam during orientation.
• Compliance with artificial nail policy and possession of a valid driver's license.
