Marketing and Communications Coordinator

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for coordinating and executing internal and external communication strategies for the Herberger Theater Center, including marketing, branding, website management, and social media. This position requires exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, polished, and professional communications that reflect the organization's brand and reputation. Reports to the Marketing Manager. Overview Manage,coordinateandimplementallmarketingandpromotionalmaterialandactivities within established budget. Support and expandpublicrelationseffortstoincreaseprofileandawarenessofthetheater. ManageandinitiateemailmarketingcampaignsusingConstantContact Ensureconsistentbrandpersonalityforallmediumsandmarketingchannels. Developandimplementmarketingandpromotionalplans Plan, execute, and evaluate effectiveness of web, print, and broadcast media and direct marketing campaigns; ensure effective branded marketing communications; ability to continuouslyimprovemarketingandadvertisingmethods,approaches,andorganizationalimpact Measuremarketingandbrandinitiativesthatenhanceandenrichthepositionandimageof the Herberger Theater Center. Provideregularandaccuratereportingonthesuccessofmarketingefforts. Developplansandinitiativestoincreaseaudiencegenerationandretention. Playbill/Show Program Organizecontentincludingcollectionofinformationandimages for print and/or digital show program. SocialMedia Capture photo and video content, including on-camera narration and live social media coverage of performances, events, and community programs. Coordinatemonthlycontentcalendar. Executesocialmediapostsandstoriesinconjunctionwithevents Media/PR Create and determine publicity/press relations plan to generate continued greater awarenessoftheHerbergerTheaterCenterandsupportanyoverallmarketinginitiatives. Write and distribute news and press releases, articles, relevant and targeted calendar listings,andpublicserviceannouncements(PSAs),ensuringconsistencyandaccuracy. CoordinateandscheduleHerbergerTheaterproductionandeventphotographyand videography needs. Website Maintain, update, and optimize the organization's WordPress website. Other Managecreationanddistributionofe-newsletters. Coordinatethe production,placement,andinstallationofmarketingmaterials(posters,flyers)internallyandexternally. Support the Community Engagement team by facilitating outreach to performance groups, adding their events to online listings, updating show slideshows, and gathering performer photos and bios. Convert show graphics into flyers, newsletter graphics, marquee sign graphics, and box office slides using Canva. Representtheorganizationatselectevents. Demonstrate a genuine care and concern for the quality and convenience of patrons’ experiencethatdevelopsinsightintopatronbehaviorandpricingstrategytohelpbuild audiences and engagement Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, advertising, and brand initiatives using data and analytics to inform future strategies. SupportandcollaboratewiththeDirector of Developmentoneffortstocreate donor and sponsor recognition as well as contribute to the execution of special events, community events and other fundraising initiatives.
