What You'll Do

• Provide OB/GYN care supporting approximately 14 patients per day, with visits every 30 minutes
• Deliver support to a team of 5 OB providers and midwives
• Attend to deliveries at Good Samaritan Hospital, treating a patient population mostly comprising teenagers and adults
• Cover a 24-hour hospital call shift once every 7 days, with potential support from onsite staff during calls
• Utilize EMR eClinicalWorks for patient documentation
• Participate in clinic duties during scheduled days, ensuring quality outpatient care
• Support the hospital's obstetric and gynecological department with professionalism and expertise

What You Need

• Active New York medical license
• DEA certification
• Board Certified in OB/GYN (no BE accepted)
• Minimum 2 years' OB/GYN practice experience

• Experience with hospital deliveries and ultrasound services
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage a busy outpatient and inpatient practice

About the Assignment This role involves providing essential obstetric and gynecological care in a community-focused setting. The hospital handles approximately 1,500 deliveries annually and features onsite ultrasound and a sleep room for providers during overnight on-call shifts. The position offers a stable schedule with supported clinical duties, ideal for a provider committed to patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.
