Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours per Week

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Neuro Telemetry unit in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong telemetry skills, prior Level 1 Trauma experience, and the ability to manage complex neurological and medical patients while delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Neuro Telemetry patients.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and EKGs.
• Administer and titrate medications, including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, and Insulin drips.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to all patient safety, infection control, and facility protocols.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Previous Level 1 Trauma experience required.
• Neuro Telemetry experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to interpret EKG rhythms.
• Experience managing high-acuity patients and titratable drips.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
