Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op Student

The Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op student will work under a mentor in the Powell Electrical System North Canton Division Engineering group. This student will generally work on manufacturing support projects and assisting the Manufacturing Engineers. The focus of this position will be to increase product flow efficiency and read/interpret 3D models/drawings.

3D model tooling and fixtures using inventor

Assist with layouts of the plant using AutoCAD

Time studies for baseline, so efficiencies can be implemented

Help support day to day activities in a manufacturing environment

Learn policies and procedures, work instruction, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and vendor products.

Currently enrolled in an accredited mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technology, or industrial engineering program and seeking a Bachelor's degree.

Powell Industries
