Assignment Overview Location: Atlanta, Georgia Shift: Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: ASAP (typically 3-4 weeks from offer acceptance) Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking a Surgical Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a high-acuity OR position at an inner-city trauma center. Details Hospital OR setting at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases. 12-hour day shifts, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 3 shifts per week. Weekend coverage required, expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month. Holiday coverage required. Call shifts required. Block scheduling not available. Requirements Prior travel experience required. Level 1 trauma center experience required, specifically in high-volume, high-acuity environments. Proven ability to manage critical, fast-paced surgical situations with complex and severe cases. Experience in large-scale trauma environments; candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered. Burn surgery experience preferred. Copies of certifications required for consideration. Active license required if applicable. Additional Information This facility accepts local candidates at the standard travel rate. Pay Weekly pay: $1,398 Assignment total (13 weeks): $18,171 Annual equivalent (52 weeks): $72,684 Weekly wages: $648 (regular hours) Weekly stipends: $750 (lodging, meals & incidentals) In compliance with state pay transparency laws, we disclose that the estimated weekly pay range for this role is $1,258 - $1,398.
