Sales Specialist Mass Spectrometry

Agilent seeks a Product Specialist to drive mass spectrometry system sales across Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. territories. The role combines independent and collaborative selling of complex LC/MS and GC/MS solutions to commercial, government, and academic customers, with sales quota and incentive compensation.

Responsibilities

Drive sales of high-performance LC/MS and GC/MS systems in assigned geographic territory
Create and develop mass spectrometry sales opportunities with strategic tactics
Develop solutions-based strategies for complex MS-based customer needs
Collaborate with Account Managers and Application Engineers on sales activities
Meet sales quota for all MS products in Virginia, Maryland, and D.C. region

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related science field
2+ years experience in industry, academia, government, or sales
Strong practical and theoretical knowledge of mass spectrometry applications and workflows
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Solid presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and in matrix team environments
Pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical workflow experience preferred

Compensation: $117,000-$208,650/yr plus bonus, stock, and benefits
