Salary $125,000 - $175,000 per year A Bit About Us Boutique commercial litigation firm handling all aspects of real estate, business and bankruptcy law with an emphasis on privately held companies, partnerships, trusts and high net worth individuals. Our attorneys support our clients with business and commercial litigation, corporate formations and transactions, employment matters, real estate financing and transactions, real estate litigation, and bankruptcy and creditor/debtor rights. Responsibilities Represent clients in court or before government agencies Take and defend expert and percipient depositions in connection with litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and other litigation documents on behalf of clients Lead or participate in trials, arbitrations, hearings and mediations Advise clients on business and legal transactions with an emphasis on real estate and privately held corporate transactions Negotiate and document transactions for business and real estate deals as well as settlements of legal disputes Practice corporate work including formation of business entities and creation of investment structures and preparation of operating agreements, subscription agreements, by-laws, and other company, partnership or corporate documents and agreements Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law Qualifications 5 to 7 years in litigation and/or real estate transactional work preferred Admission to the California State Bar Familiarity with California Codes and Federal Codes Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to build rapport with clients and work with clients Work efficiently in a team or individual environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
