Position Title: Usability Tester / Tester Duration: 3+ Years State Government experience is must . Position Summa ryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytica l Usability Test er to evaluate software applications, websites, and digital solutions from an end-user perspective. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting usability tests to ensure products meet user experience, accessibility, functionality, and business requirements. The Usability Tester will collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, UX/UI designers, and quality assurance teams to identify usability issues and recommend improvement s.Mandatory Qualificatio ns Experie Mandatory Qualifications ExperienceMinimum one (1) year of experience in usability test ing of software applications, web applications, or enterprise syste ms.Working knowledge of various programming languages, software development platforms, and application development lifecycl es.Experience identifying usability issues, documenting findings, and recommending improvemen ts.Strong communication, reporting, troubleshooting, and analytical skil ls.Ability to prepare detailed test results, defect reports, and usability recommendatio Education ionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX), Engineering, or a related fiel ORRelevant industry certification in usability testing, UX, quality assurance, software testing, or related discipli ne.Additional qualifying experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year bas is.Candidates substituting the Bachelor's degree with an additional four (4) years of qualifying experience must possess a total of five (5) years of relevant experie ionsUp to three (3) additional y ears of usability testing experience beyond the mandatory minimum requirem ent.Experience on at le ast one (1) project utilizing usability testing tools and platf orms to evaluate user interactions and application performa nce.Experience creating and executing usability test plans, test scenarios, test scripts, and test ca ses.Experience on at le ast one (1) large-scale IT pro ject utilizing Agile methodolog ies.Experience testing and tracking user stories, defects, and enhancements in a DevOps environm ent.Experience working with defect tracking and project management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platfo rms.Experience managing multiple assignments, projects, or workstreams simultaneously.
