Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Spring City, PA
Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Setting: Veterans' Center

Position Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join a respected Veterans' Center in Spring City, PA. In this role, you will provide direct patient care and support to our nation's veterans, helping ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity offering consistent first-shift hours and the potential for long-term employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
• Provide compassionate care while maintaining residents' dignity and independence
• Help with meal service and feeding assistance as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and organized
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR certification preferred
• Previous long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or veteran care experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to pass all required background screenings and pre-employment requirements
