Job Description
Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

Rotating shifts including holidays and weekends per unit needs.

Assignment Details

On call/callback, floating assignments may be required.

Requirements

• RN License (NY state license ONLY)
• Two (2) years operating room experience in a Level 1 trauma center required
• Able to scrub and circulate
• Telemetry experience is highly desired
• Certification(s): BLS (American Heart Association ONLY), ACLS (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a wide variety of patients across multiple surgical specialties
• Assist in surgeries requiring advanced techniques, including robotics and transplant procedures
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety protocols
• Participate in unit training and development initiatives
• Handle emergencies and act quickly to provide necessary interventions
