Location: Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance, Fort Worth, TX

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: 7.5 24-hour shifts/month (minimum 5.5 shifts/month considered)

Hours/week: Full-time

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Licensure: Active Texas medical license required; Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN

Experience: Prior OB hospitalist experience preferred (not explicitly specified)

Compensation: $135/hour (~$292,000/year based on schedule)

What You'll Do

• Manage a busy obstetric service with approximately 1,924 deliveries annually, including vaginal and C-section deliveries.
• Provide obstetric triage, admissions, labor and delivery care, and attend Cesarean sections as needed.
• Collaborate with neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists on high-risk cases.
• Handle OB/GYN emergencies, GYN ER consults, and inpatient care duties.
• Support patient care for high-volume outpatient OB/GYN triage visits and OBED consults.
• Participate in team-based, Level II NICU care and emergency response in labor and delivery.
• Maintain continuous coverage or provide support for private call coverage.

What You Need

• Active Texas medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Ability to start promptly and work full shifts

• Experience working as an OB hospitalist or in a high-volume obstetric setting
• Strong obstetric emergency and surgical skills
