Outside Sales Specialist Job Description:
PrideStaff is working with an international manufacturer and distributor who is seeking an Outside Sales Specialist to join their team. The Outside Sales Specialist will drive growth by opening new accounts, building lasting customer relationships that deliver innovative fluid management and home organization solutions to distributors, retailers, and dealer networks. The ideal Outside Sales Specialist brings an established background in manufacturing, industrial, plumbing, or hardware sales, paired with exceptional communication skills that converts relationships into new business accounts. The Outside Sales Specialist position is a full-time, direct hire position in St. Paul, MN.
Outside Sales Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, Prospect, & Secure New Business Opportunities Across Retail Hardware & Distribution Networks
- Strengthen Current Customer & Distributor Relationships to Expand Market Share & Drive Revenue Growth
- Conduct Frequent Client Visits, Deliver Product Presentations on Water-Moving Solutions, & Develop Targeted Territory Growth Plans
- Partner With Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, & Operations to Ensure Customer Success
- Represent The Brand & Showcase Product LInes at Key Trade Shows & industry Events
- Maintain Accurate Sales Forecasts, Client Data, & Activity Tracking Within The CRM
- Consistently Meet or Exceed Established Sales Targets & Territory Objectives
- Deliver Hands-on Product & Technical Training to Distributor Sales Forces & Retail Store Associates
- Actively Monitor Competitor Pricing & Supply Gaps to Identify Market Weaknesses & Aggressively Win Over New Distributors & Retail Customers
- Represent The Manufacturer & Showcase Product Lines at key trade Shows & Industry Events
Outside Sales Specialist Job Requirements & Working Conditions:
- High School Diploma Required
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 3+ Years of Outside Sales Experience Required
- Solid Experience Selling Through Retail, Hardware, Industrial, Plumbing, Building Products, or Distribution Channels
- Proven Ability to Develop New Business While Maintaining Long-Term Customer Relationships
- Superb Written & Verbal Communication With Solid Presentation & Negotiation Skills
- Must be Self-Motivated With a High Degree of Organizational Skills
- Holds a Clean Valid Diver’s License With The Ability to Travel Nationally
