Position: Licensed Customs Broker
Location: Valley Stream, NY
Company/Industry: Well-established international freight forwarder
Schedule: Mon-Fri On-Site Only
Salary: $80,000 - $120,000/yr depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit customs documentation, including import declarations, entries, tariffs, and regulatory reports.
- Ensure all filings comply with CBP regulations, trade laws, and agency requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, brokers, and government agencies to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
- Manage regulatory reporting obligations related to customs activities, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Oversee transportation-related compliance tasks, including documentation accuracy and logistics coordination.
- Maintain detailed records for audits, compliance reviews, and internal reporting.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License required.
- Proven experience in customs clearance, import regulations, and trade compliance.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain operations, and freight forwarding processes.
- Familiarity with OSHA and FDA regulations affecting imported goods.
- Excellent written communication and report-writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $80,000.00 - $120,000.00
