26ft Box Truck Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate

A well-established and locally owned company is seeking a Dock High Truck Driver / Warehouse Fulfillment Associate. This position requires the ability to operate a dock-high truck and cargo van for deliveries, along with performing daily warehouse duties. Compensation is based on experience.

Candidates must be familiar with driving a 24–26' (non-CDL) box truck using lift gates, pallet jacks, and hand trucks/dollies. Preference will be given to candidates local to and familiar with the greater Charlotte area.

Responsibilities

• Drive 24'–26' box trucks and cargo vans for local deliveries
• Load and unload trucks at origin and destination using hand loading, pallet jacks, carts, or hand trucks
• Sort freight in a warehouse setting
• Follow routing and delivery instructions to meet or exceed client expectations
• Ensure proper documentation is completed and submitted as required
• Use smartphones and tablets for routing, communication, and documentation
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor
• Work safely, follow instructions, and communicate as necessary
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager

Requirements

• Have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card (Required)
• Experience driving 24'–26' box trucks with lift gates, cargo vans, and forklifts
• Must be 25 years of age or older (insurance requirement)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile to satisfy clients
• Flexible schedule availability

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous commercial driving experience
• Warehouse experience
• Familiarity with the Charlotte and surrounding areas

Schedule

• 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts
• Day shift / Morning shift
• Monday through Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Background Requirements

Criminal background check, drug test, and motor vehicle record check will be performed by a third party. Must be able to pass a background check with no felonies or DUI convictions in the past seven (7) years. Employment offers are contingent upon results.
