Production Worker – Medical Device ManufacturingIf you're looking for a job ASAP and you have Assembly experience then this is the position for you!This role focuses on producing small plastic parts for medical devices using custom desktop manufacturing equipment in a clean and pleasant work environment. You will support the full production process, including machine operation, inspection, documentation, and packaging, while contributing to a collaborative, entrepreneurial team setting.ResponsibilitiesRun manufacturing processes using small desktop machines to produce plastic parts for medical devices.Operate custom production equipment safely and efficiently according to established procedures.Conduct in-process inspections of parts and components to ensure they meet quality and regulatory standards.Accurately document inspection results and maintain clear, complete production records.Complete training records and follow documented work instructions and protocols.Assist in the documentation of new products, including recording process details and supporting validation activities.Perform packaging and labeling of finished products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with medical device requirements.Carry out associated tasks such as packing, sealing, and preparing products for shipment or further processing.Support general operating tasks typical of a small, entrepreneurial environment, including breaking down boxes, sweeping and cleaning work areas, and maintaining organized workspaces.Follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and cleanroom procedures to maintain product quality and safety.Use basic hand tools and equipment as needed for production, assembly, and machine operation.Work effectively under a microscope for detailed assembly or inspection tasks.Adhere to all standard protocols for medical device manufacturing, including documentation, quality checks, and safety procedures.Essential SkillsAbility to operate production and assembly equipment, including small desktop manufacturing machines.Experience or aptitude in production, assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks.Capability to conduct basic inspections and use inspection tools; training can be provided.Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions and complete documentation.Good manual dexterity for handling small parts and performing detailed work.Comfort with completing repetitive tasks while maintaining focus and accuracy.Ability to work under a microscope for fine, detailed assembly or inspection.Willingness to follow standard protocols for medical device manufacturing, including dress code and personal grooming requirements.Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.Ability to work in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment following GMP guidelines.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in medical device assembly or similar regulated manufacturing environments.Familiarity with cleanroom practices and contamination control procedures.Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a production setting.Comfort using hand tools for basic production and assembly tasks.Prior experience in packaging, labeling, and packing operations.Ability to maintain organized documentation for training, inspections, and production activities.Adaptability to support a variety of general operating tasks in a small, entrepreneurial environment.Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to meaningful medical products within a locally owned, family-oriented business that values long-term growth and stability.
