Shift Information: 7A-3P / 3P-11P / 11P-7:30A

Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Guaranteed: 37 hours

Every other weekend is required.

Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccine or present a documented religious and/or medical exemption

Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and dependable Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to join our healthcare team for a 13-week contract assignment in St. Albans, Vermont. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support while working closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced long-term care and rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Provide direct patient care while maintaining residents' comfort, dignity, and safety.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
• Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed.
• Support nursing staff with treatments, procedures, and medication assistance as assigned.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to the nursing team.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols at all times.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

Required:

• Successful completion of a state-approved Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) program.
• Current Vermont LNA certification in good standing.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical ability to perform patient care duties, including lifting, transferring, and assisting residents.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings.

Requirements

• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccination series or provide a documented medical or religious exemption.
• Must comply with all facility and state healthcare requirements.
