Job Description
- Lead the overall planning, execution, commissioning, and start-up of EPC projects.
- Develop, implement, and manage the project execution plan to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Coordinate and direct engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage project communications and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate decision-making processes and resolve project issues to support successful project delivery.
- Oversee project reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- 10-20 years of project management experience in EPC environments.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience serving in a Project Director role on at least:
- One refining project valued at more than $300 million.
- One project valued at more than $300 million in chemicals, petrochemicals, power, solar, renewables, or related industries.
- Experience working across at least two industries, including: Oil & Gas
- Power, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Solar, Renewable Energy, Renewable Diesel or Gas Technologies
- Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels of management, employees, clients, and contractors.
- Strong project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Advanced degree or professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) preferred.
