Your Role:

You’ll oversee daily practice operations, working closely with the doctor and team to create efficient workflows, clear communication, and a welcoming patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and develop the team: Set clear expectations, provide practical coaching, and build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellent service.
• Manage daily operations: Oversee scheduling, front-office workflows, patient communication, and coordination between the front and back office.
• Present treatment confidently: Explain treatment plans, insurance benefits, estimated patient portions, and payment options clearly and compassionately.
• Own the insurance billing process: Submit accurate claims and pre-authorizations, post insurance payments, resolve denials, and follow up on outstanding claims.
• Stay on top of accounts receivable: Monitor insurance and patient balances, address aging accounts, and maintain consistent collection processes.
• Support practice performance: Monitor production, collections, schedule utilization, expenses, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance: Support complete documentation, patient privacy, HIPAA compliance, and adherence to applicable regulations and payer requirements.

What You Bring:

• Previous dental office management experience is required , including direct supervision of a dental team.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required , with the ability to communicate confidently with patients about treatment and financial arrangements.
• Strong working knowledge of PPO, HMO, and Denti-Cal/Medi-Cal Dental , including treatment planning, billing, authorizations, and payment follow-up.
• Hands-on experience with claims submission, insurance payment posting, denial resolution, and accounts receivable.
• A solid understanding of dental terminology, patient records, HIPAA, and practice operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience monitoring practice financial performance, budgets, and expenses.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental practice management software.
• Experience with Open Dental, Practice-Web, or Thrive dental software is preferred.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
