You do need: Solid bartending experience and a genuine passion for craft – you take pride in what you put in front of a guest A personable, confident presence that makes guests feel like regulars from the very first visit The ability to multitask and stay composed when the bar is three deep and everyone wants something different Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer - and a curiosity to keep learning QUALIFICATIONS On paper, you bring: 1+ years of bartending experience in a full-service restaurant or bar setting Working knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and beer, with the confidence to make recommendations TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol certification (or willingness to obtain before your first shift) Must meet Massachusetts’ minimum age requirement (18+) to serve alcohol Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays ABOUT AVVIO MILLBURY AND NEWPORT RESTAURANT GROUP With a focus on fresh ingredients, Avvio’s menu features Italian classics, perfect for every occasion.
