Their experienced doctors and staff offer comprehensive vision examinations and are highly trained in diagnosing and treating a wide array of eye diseases and conditions. The center provides primary care, contact lens services, ocular disease management, and specializes in both pediatrics and geriatrics. They are committed to educating their patients and delivering personalized eye care, ensuring patients receive high-quality care locally, without the need to travel to larger, distant cities. The well-trained team, comprising opticians and technicians with over 100 years of combined experience, enables the doctors to pursue the practice and specialty of their choice.The practice is offering the following compensation and benefits package:Competitive compensation package with a step pay structure over three years ($120,000/$130,000/$140,000) and an incentive bonus available.401(k) optionPartnership opportunityPotential student loan repaymentCompetitive benefits for health, dental, and disability.Paid time offMedical malpractice insuranceMembership, licensing, and continuing education fees provided.What You'll Do:As an Associate Optometrist, you'll conduct eye exams utilizing advanced optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and prescribing and fitting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. You will also be tasked with recommending appropriate patient follow-up and care options, answering questions, and providing advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues. Delivering outstanding customer service through all patient interactions is paramount—a typical day consists of 20 to 25 patients. Furthermore, you will direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice. The practices are equipped with EHR, OPTOS, Automated Refraction Systems, OCT, VF, and ERG. This position offers a four-and-a-half-day work week, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Who You Are:The ideal candidate is highly skilled in the general principles of optometry and best practices for diagnosing and treating eye-related disorders and conditions. You're able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds, along with excellent customer service skills. The ability to maintain patient confidentiality and general computer proficiency is essential. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and multitasking ability are also crucial to this role.
