Your Responsibilities As a Senior Environmental Project Engineer Provide senior technical oversight and perform project work. Write and review technical reports and proposals. Assist with project management activities. Engineer design of environmental projects under senior engineer oversight. Mentor and train scientific staff and supervise work. Conduct field‑based activities such as site inspections, remedial system startups, O&M trouble shooting. Assist with installing, operating, and maintaining soil and groundwater remediation systems. Manage and oversee equipment vendors in the field. Ensure safe work practices on all project work. Actively develop your own career growth. What We're Looking For BS in Environmental Engineering PE Certification 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification Experience with environmental remediation including soil, soil gas, and groundwater treatment systems Familiarity / exposure with the FDEP Petroleum Response Program 5+ years of related experience Proficiency with MS Office Experience with AutoCAD is a plus Excellent technical communication skills; strong attention to detail; field adeptness Strong safety record and understanding of safe work practices Strong research and analytical skills to identify, collect, organize, and document information and data. Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required. 10‑15% fieldwork/travel to support and oversee pilot tests, system optimization, system startups, and pre‑construction meetings.
