Medical Assistant

Location: Naples, FL
Pay: $20-$23/hour
Schedule: Tuesday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (4/10 schedule)

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a growing healthcare team in Naples, FL. This role supports both clinical and front office operations while helping provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and record patient vital signs including height, weight, and blood pressure
• Document patient histories, treatments, and test results accurately within the EMR system
• Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures
• Maintain and stock clinical supplies and sterilize instruments as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all patient confidentiality standards
• Support preventative healthcare initiatives and team-based patient care delivery
• Perform front office duties including patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, reception, and payment collection
• Assist patients with scheduling internal and external referrals

Where permitted and directed, additional duties may include:

• Performing routine screening tests
• Drawing blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis
• Administering injectable medications and immunizations
• Changing dressings, applying bandages, removing sutures, and providing basic first aid care
• Traveling to other client or health center locations when needed

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Strong EMR documentation and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and patient care abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred, but not required depending on experience and state requirements
