Make a Difference Every Day | Early Childhood Teacher

Full-Time or Part-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM–5:30 PM (10 hour days - flexibility in scheduling)

What You'll Do

What You'll Do

• Partner with another teacher in the classroom to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment.
• Plan activities around our bi-weekly learning themes.
• Support children as they reach developmental milestones.
• Communicate with families and celebrate each child's growth.
• Be a positive teammate who contributes to a culture where everyone helps each other succeed.

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Applicants with higher education in an ECE field of study are paid for their experience and education
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.
• A strong understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Before employment begins:

• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of employment
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.
• Complete safe sleep training before working

Physical Requirements:

• Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.
• A specific vision ability will be required including the ability to see up close and up to a certain distance, to see colors, have peripheral vision and depth perception.

About Us

Nurtured Growth Childcare Center is a newer center that opening July 2025. We will provide a play-based program with focus on health and well-being of children through physical movement, nutrition, and time spent outdoors as much as possible. We are a Christian center open to families in the Osage Beach area, both private pay and subsidy.
