Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on high-acuity pediatric patients (Level 4 care)
• Deliver advanced respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric populations requiring critical intervention
• May float to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations as operationally needed
• Complete required facility onboarding steps, including fingerprinting, prior to start date
• Maintain compliance with all annual competency and module requirements as directed by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required — active and in hand at time of submission
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in PEDS, PICU, and/or NICU (high-acuity, Level 4 care) required
• Must pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine); facility is nicotine-free with no exceptions
• Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty — from assignments worked within the past 12 months — required at time of submission
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working across multiple NICU or pediatric critical care environments
• Familiarity with pediatric cardiovascular intensive care (CVICU) patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to float and adapt across varying care settings within a large health system
