About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required certifications include ARRT (VS) or ARDMS (RVT) and BLS. Certifications: American Red Cross or American Heart Association BLS Certificate. Must-Have: Candidates must have ARRT (VS) or ARDMS (RVT) certification. Candidates must have vascular sonography experience. Description: This position is for a travel ultrasound technician. The role requires working from Friday to Sunday. The unit has over 350 beds and a staff of 8. Day shift coverage includes 2 staff, mid shift has 1 staff, and night shift has 1 staff. The equipment used is GE radiology equipment. The EMR system is Meditech. Candidates will perform general diagnostic ultrasound imaging. Typical procedures include biopsies, drains, DVT, and transplant work-ups. Ideal candidates should take initiative and enjoy teamwork. Rotating call is required for one week per month or one weekend per month. The dress code consists of charcoal grey scrubs and leather shoes.
