Overview Gallagher Re’s Global Program Solutions team supports a broad range of delegated authority and program business clients through flexible access to insurance, reinsurance and capital markets. We work across multiple capacity structures and distribution models to deliver scalable approaches tailored to the evolving needs of MGAs, MGUs, Coverholders and other program business clients. We are seeking a highly experienced, market-facing US Capacity Lead to join the Global Program Solutions team. This role will play a key part in expanding and strengthening Gallagher Re’s US carrier relationships in support of our growing global program business portfolio. The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of the US carrier landscape, including risk appetite, delegated authority structures and program market dynamics. They will lead carrier engagement and capacity efforts across the Program Solutions portfolio, working closely with carriers, clients and internal stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, develop scalable strategies and support the continued expansion of Gallagher Re’s program business capabilities. The role requires strong commercial acumen, market credibility and the ability to build long-term strategic relationships across the insurance ecosystem. How You’ll Make An Impact Build and manage strategic relationships across the US insurance market, including carriers, fronting partners and delegated authority platforms Lead the sourcing, structuring and execution of capacity arrangements for Program Solutions clients, including MGAs, MGUs, DUAs, Lloyd’s Coverholders and program administrators Lead negotiations relating to carrier agreements, delegated authority arrangements and fronting structures Partner with Program Solutions leadership and other internal stakeholders to develop scalable, sustainable capacity strategies across the portfolio Provide insight into market conditions, competitive dynamics and emerging trends impacting the US program, insurance and delegated authority landscape Represent Gallagher Re Global Program Solutions in client, carrier and broader market-facing engagements Support business development initiatives across program business, embedded distribution and specialty insurance segments Act as an internal subject matter expert on delegated authority structures, carrier engagement and program capacity strategy About You 10+ years of experience within the US insurance market Significant experience working with insurance carriers, wholesalers, MGAs, delegated authority/program business, or specialty insurance distribution Deep understanding of the US commercial insurance landscape and carrier appetite across multiple classes and segments Demonstrated experience negotiating or managing carrier relationships and program structures Strong understanding of delegated authority and fronting structures Established industry relationships within the US insurance and delegated authority market preferred Strong executive presence and relationship management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across external and internal stakeholders Highly strategic mindset with the ability to balance growth objectives and long-term partnership sustainability Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment Compensation And Benefits At Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
