Industry and what does the company do?Aerospace company based in Los Angeles is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic! Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Shift Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (plus OT) Location: South Bay Pay: Up to $27.00 (depending on experience) / Job Class: Temp-to-Hire Description: Keep plant machinery and equipment in good repair. Maintain, analyze, and correct problems of standard machinery as required.- Perform Preventative Maintenance on major equipment
- General Mechanical Maintenance
- Examine Machines
- Troubleshooting
- Repairs
- Ability to read basic blueprints and interpret specifications
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems
- 4 years’ experience on general machine tool repair and maintenance
- Crane and Forklift experience
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
- Pass background and drug screen
