Now, we are expanding our global team and looking for talented individuals like you!/ph3Position Description/h3pTitle: Ship/Rec/Whse Assistant/ppDepartment: Shipping Receiving/ppImmediate Supervisor: Warehouse Manager/ppStatus: Hourly Non-Exempt/ppPosition Purpose: Receives and ships all goods within plant/ph3Principle Accountabilities/h3ulliResponsible to ensure the safe preparation of product for outbound shipment utilizing manual labor, and pallet jacks on a frequent basis, and powered industrial trucks./liliReceives product deliveries including inspecting quantity and quality of goods received and making decisions to accept or reject inbound shipments./liliShips products from plants, including examining shipment contents and compares against production reports and bills of lading./liliPrepares of shipping and receiving documents accompanying shipments including packing lists, bills of lading, and all other required paperwork./liliOperates a powered industrial truck to assist in loading products on to commercial vehicles as necessary./liliPerforms all work in a safety first mentality and with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills./liliRelated tasks as requested by supervisor/li/ulh3Essential Skills and Experience/h3ulliHigh School Diploma or Equivalent required./lili1+ Years of Shipping or Receiving experience required./liliBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office, AS400, and other PC based programs required./liliIntermediate math and critical thinking skills required./liliEnglish written communication skills necessary./liliAbility to stand and walk for up to 10 hours at a time required/liliAbility to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis/liliAbility to consistently lift arms and work within full range of arm motion./liliAbility to safely operate/li/ulpWhy Choose IPG?/ppAt IPG, you will find more than just a jobyou will find a place where your success is our success.
