Come grow with us!Position OverviewAs part of the Production Assembly Team, the Production Line Operator I plays a critical role in producing high-quality transformers efficiently and safely. This role operates within a dynamic and collaborative manufacturing environment where teamwork, integrity, and respect are highly valued. The operator will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure product quality and adherence to safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Quality & EfficiencyProduce quality transformers according to established standards and timelines.Utilize precision tools (machinist's scale, tape measure, dial calipers) to ensure accurate measurements and product specifications.Perform quality checks on finished work and complete tasks within the required cycle time.Monitor equipment for performance and perform preventive maintenance when necessary.Team Collaboration & CommunicationWork effectively as part of a team, fostering a cooperative environment and assisting colleagues when needed.Communicate effectively with supervisors, team leads, and colleagues regarding job tasks, safety concerns, and production status.Safety & CleanlinessFollow and enforce all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the workspace through 5S housekeeping practices.Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.Other Duties as AssignedPerform other tasks as directed by the Production Supervisor or Production Line Coordinator to support team objectives and production goals.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods (up to 3 hours continuously, between breaks).Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for line tasks and packing duties.Ability to move within the production area to communicate with other team members and supervisors.Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical labels in English.Strong communication skills in English, both for daily operations and during emergencies.Job RequirementsTechnical SkillsProficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as a machinist's scale, tape measure, and dial calipers to within specified tolerances.Capable of reading and interpreting Bills of Materials (BOM) and Order Management Sheets (OMS).Knowledge of dispensing machine operations and equipment maintenance.Core CompetenciesExcellent time management and organizational skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team.Ability to observe and follow safety standards to maintain a secure working environment.Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain consistent attendance.Protective EquipmentCertified safety glasses or side shields for prescription glasses.Nitrile gloves for handling chemicals.Anti-slip, steel-toed shoes are mandatory.Rubber (anti-fatigue) mats are provided for each workstation.ScheduleMon-Thurs. 5:00AM - 3:30PM and occasional FridaysSome of the benefits of working at HPS Micron Group LLC:Competitive wage - starting wage $16.50Casual dressCompany eventsCompany 401KDental careDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programExtended health careLife AD/D insuranceMedical insuranceOn-site parkingPaid time offTuition reimbursementVision careWe are Great Place to Work Certified!
