MTK Healthcare is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract assignment at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Position Details

Position: Pharmacy Technician Retail/Outpatient
Facility: Valley View Hospital
Location: Glenwood Springs, CO 81601
Start Date: September 1, 2026
Assignment: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week with Saturday rotation
Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours/week
EMR: Meditech
Experience: Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
Call: No call

Requirements

Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certification (DORA) required.
Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.
Strong knowledge of prescription processing and retail pharmacy operations.
Resume, Colorado Pharmacy Technician Certification, and Skills Sheet required.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with filling and processing prescriptions.
Update and maintain patient profiles.
Maintain medication inventory and pharmacy stock.
Support daily retail/outpatient pharmacy operations.
Work closely with pharmacists and healthcare staff.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of pharmacy-related tasks.

Travel Information

Traveler's permanent residence must be at least 75 miles from the facility .
Housing available: 1 month of free rent in a furnished Valley View studio apartment with utilities included.
After the first month, housing is $1,700/month , furnished and including utilities.
