Job Overview Join Our Team as a Radiologic Technologist at Intermountain Health. The role involves performing radiologic exams and ensuring safety for patients and staff. Job Essentials Ensures proper patient identification, orders verification, and prepares the patient for the exam. Makes patients feel comfortable and addresses any concerns throughout the procedure. Performs radiologic exams to produce quality images while maintaining patient and staff safety. Follows proper protocols, correct patient positioning, effective equipment use, and radiation protection guidelines. Utilizes sterile techniques when performing invasive procedures. Recognizes emergent patient situations and responds quickly and appropriately. Thoroughly and accurately completes required documentation, including timestamps and image storage. Coordinates patient care and communicates pertinent information to other providers after the procedure. Maintains a clean, neat, and safe environment for patients and staff. Ensures supplies and equipment are stored in an organized, efficient manner. Pursues education and career development opportunities, especially new procedures and equipment. Assists and instructs students and other Radiology Techs on protocols, positioning, and equipment. Shift Details 8 hour shifts Thursday & Friday (potential to pick up additional shifts or regular hours at other Wasatch Back locations). Location: Park City Sports Medicine Clinic. Pay: $29.14+ depending on experience. Minimum Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Radiologic technologist license in state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers. May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform the function of an MA in a clinic or InstaCare setting. Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of radiology experience. IV Certification. Physical Requirements Frequent verbal communication with patients, providers, and visitors; manual dexterity; lifting and maneuvering patients and equipment; walking and assisting with patient transport; pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment; navigating busy clinical rooms; standing for extended periods.
