The facility is a 198-bed, level III trauma center, including state-of-the-art operating suites. Due to facility location, various trauma cases are flown to the facility. The facility provides healthcare services including medical, surgical, and rehabilitation. Additional services include a childbirth center, cancer center, nephrology unit, pediatric unit, inpatient behavioral health unit, day surgery center, and extensive imaging and lab testing services. The facility has received accreditation for PCI, mammography, and laboratory services. It has been recognized among the top 20 most beautiful hospitals in the U.S. The hiring facility is located in a beautiful valley with various outdoor recreational opportunities. It offers attractions such as hiking, kayaking, and historical sightseeing. The emergency department consists of 48 beds with flexible space available. Patient ratios are 4:1 in the main emergency department and 6:1 in the fast track area. Available equipment includes Zoll defibrillator, level one blood transfuser, blood warmers, and point-of-care ultrasound. Electronic health records are managed using Cerner. The department is supported by a team nursing and pod system, with a social worker and unit educator assigned to the department. The patient population includes individuals with conditions such as end-stage renal disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and psychological disorders. Common diagnoses and treatments include substance abuse disorders, chronic heart failure, abdominal pain, and chest pain.
