Phlebotomist I Part‑Time – Alliance, OH Schedule: Tuesday 5:00 PM–9:00 PM, Thursday 6:00 PM–9:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM. Part‑time (29 hours or less per week) only. Pay Range and Compensation Minimum $18.51+ per hour. Salary offers are based on relevant skills, training, experience, education, and certifications, as well as market and organizational factors. Successful candidates may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Responsibilities Collect specimens according to established procedures, including drug screens, biometric screening, and insurance exams. Administer oral solutions per training. Research test/client information, confirm and verify orders using lab technology systems, client contact, and approved tools. Navigate a computer and accurately enter data. Obtain identification, enter billing information, and collect payments when required, following corporate policies. Process specimens: labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing, and preparing for transport as required. Perform non‑patient‑facing duties: inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, answering phones, and using email. Read, understand, and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Assist with compilation and submission of statistics and data when required. Maintain phlebotomy logs in a timely manner (e.g., maintenance logs and temperature logs). Complete online and in‑person training courses timely. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington). Experience One year phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred. Keyboard/data entry experience. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
